Striking display of 9 full-size, solid steel swords mounted on a massive wood plaque with pole axe and shield. The plaque is carved wood, very thick and very heavy. All swords are marked “Toledo,” honoring legendary Spanish heroes including El Cid's "La Tizona" and "La Colada", Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordoba's "Gran Capitan" or "Great Captain's" sword, King Charles III's rapier, King Ferdinand II of Aragon's "Tanto monta, monta tanto", the sword of Alfonso X, and the sword of the Duke of Alba. Measures approximately 5 feet by 5 feet when placed on the wall with all the swords in it. Longest sword is 52" from tip to hilt. Amazing centerpiece from the 80's
